Once upon a time Astronaut Theatre lived in the lap of Boston luxury as college students, but that was a long time ago and they need to get over it and move on. No really, guys, get OVER IT. They’re adults now, and they’re do sketch comedy as funny as they can, using all of their brain parts. They’ll also be performing Friday with Stag Comedy. We asked Astronaut Theatre’s collective hivemind some questions
How did you get involved with doing sketch comedy?
Astronaut Theatre: Honestly, it was either this or Mythbusting. Also we really like writing and performing together and have been since college.
What’s your writing process like?
AT: It involves a lot of late nights and near-fatal levels of Capri Sun. But mostly Google Docs.
What are you looking forward to at Austin Sketch Fest?
AT: The buffet.
What can we expect from your ASF show?
AT: Good times, hot beats, and a lot of Perfect Strangers fan fiction
